Welcome to the new students who joined our lab:

- Negar Mehrabi:  PhD candidate in the Applied Physical Sciences. Negar received her master degree in Radiation Biology from TUM Germany and undergraduate degree in BME from Tehran.

- Yuanming Hu: PhD candidate in Physics. Yuanming received his master degree in Medical Physics from Duke Kushan, and undergraduate degree in BME from Chongqing Medical Uni.

Our poster presentation on the stationary head CT won one of the poster awards at the SPIE Medical Imaging conference in San Diego.

Congratulations to Dr. Derrek Spronk who has successfully defended his PhD thesis, "Construction and evaluation of a stationary head CT scanner". Dr. Spronk has accepted a new position at a medical device company TrackX.

Congratulations to Dr. Yueting Luo who has successfully defended her PhD thesis. The title of her thesis is "Image reconstruction for stationary head CT using CNT x-ray source array". Dr. Luo has accepted a postdoctoral position at the Department of Radiology at UNC.
